Oh My Rockness

When did these guys get so huge? I mean, they're everywhere! What used to be a cult band is now one for the masses. And that's cool; the masses deserve bands that aren't shit, don't they?

Hey, if Modest Mouse can make music that Ad Execs think will get people to take out the checkbook and buy that new car, who are we to judge? It is a natural inclination when a small band, one of our bands, makes it big to feel like our baby has been taken away from us. But life is too short for that viewpoint. Since we were 3 years old we've known that sharing is caring.

So even though Z-1023532 may spin "Float On" 300 times a week, that doesn't mean you should turn your back on this great band. (Although, maybe they should consider revising their name. It's hard to be Modest when the whole world loves you.)
