Oh My Rockness

The Sharp Things play chamber pop similar to bands like The Silent League and Sea Ray. Perry Serpa leads this sprawling group, comprised of the traditional rock elements of bass, guitar and drums with full-out string and horn sections. Often, the biggest challenge this band faces is finding a stage big enough to fit all the members (there're like 138 members, no joke).

This is definitely singer-songwriter stuff, centered on Serpa's strong ear for melody and keyboard skills. But all of the many members of this band work together to flesh out these verse/chorus/verse songs and make them worthy of "epic" status.
