The Sophs is a brand new band from Los Angeles whose demo and cold-call email got them signed to Rough Trade.

Think melodic garage rock meets, well, The Strokes. They sound like The Strokes.

At least they do on their pleasingly breezy debut jam (conveniently provided for you below).
